Illness and doing nothing...

This last week I've done nothing, as a result of being ill. I find this annoying, as I had plans for this week, and this flu has prevented me from doing pretty much anything. The fact that it's something I have absolutely no control over is what I find the most annoying - if I'd been out of action for a week because I'd been an idiot I wouldn't mind so much.

I've also been bored shitless this week. An inability to talk properly (and sing, which is equally, if not more, annoying), and trying not to pass on the illness had left me feeling a bit isolated. Things improved a bit towards the end of the week as I started to feel better, and my housemates all started to fall ill anyway (sorry, guys), so I could at least talk to them, but it still amazes me how much I require interaction with other people in real life these days. I'm sure this didn't used to be the case, but it's probably a good thing.

On the plus side, I've got round to completing halo. Pretty game, with some fantastic vehicles to play with, but you get the feeling they were getting bored with the level design after the first 1/3 of the game. The last level was excellent, but most of them were 'wander round this large set of levels that look all alike, killing the same enemies for an hour', then you'd get to the destination, learn some bit of information, to discover you'd got to go back exactly the same way, and fight some slightly different bad guys... Bad effort, MS...
