Pork in Apple and Rosemary Gravy
Cooking time: 1 hour
Serves 2.
Ingredients
- 2 Lean Pork Loin Steaks
- Olive oil
- Apple sauce
- Pork stock
- Dried rosemary
Cooking instructions
- Heat a little olive oil in a pan big enough to take the pork steaks.
- Put pork steaks in hot pan.
- Sprinkle rosemary on the top of both pork steaks, and flip the steaks after 2 minutes.
- Sprinkle rosemary on the top of both pork steaks, and flip the steaks after 2 minutes.
- When the steaks start to look nicely cooked, put 6 generous teaspoons of apple sauce in the pan, and cook for a further couple of minutes.
- Add pork stock, cover pan, and simmer on a medium heat for 45 minutes.
Best served with mashed potatoes.
